Christmas Review

Okay so I’m a little out of order but heck whatever… LOL

So Christmas was a ton of fun for me this year. Lehna was so cool. She was really excited about Santa and the whole works… it was really cool. We had made Christmas cookies and had them for the girls to give to Santa, Santa even wrote them a note that they didn’t care about… I even said “Look Santa wrote you a letter” Lehna looked at me... shrugged her shoulders and went on… she didn’t care at all… LOL but that was okay... maybe the letter from Santa WAS a little much… LOL

Lehna and Maya got so much stuff… we tried to keep it as “little” as possible and I even said “5 things a piece only!” Well… that didn’t quite happen but it was fun anyways… Lehna LOVES Hannah Montana so she got several items Hannah Montana related… she also LOVES anything princess related so was VERY excited to see 5 princess Barbie’s and 5 princess outfits for her to wear… (They came together in one box so there fore TWO separate toys) Maya is VERY into Dora and BABIES so she was very excited to get a brand new Dora dolly complete with the baby girl and baby boy her twin brother and sister now why Dora has a carrying pouch for the babies AND a baby bottle in hand her the MOTHER doesn’t… I don’t know, but she loves it… and Dora talks so how can you go wrong? It was really a good Christmas. It was just so nice to see the girls light up and unwrapped Christmas gifts. Lehna was so excited she helped Maya unwrap her’s Maya didn’t care… she was too busy trying to get the babies out of the boxes… LOL

After we had Christmas at our house then we to Peru for Christmas it was a lot of fun we got some good gifts, in the big Christmas exchange. I was able to come away with two Purdue seat cushions and a Purdue cooler, which will be way nice for Purdue football season. I can’t remember what Tait got but I am sure it was just as nice. It was nice to be able to see family and hang out.

Then we went home and rested… a day… then on Saturday we went to Tait’s side of the family to his cousin’s house and it was really fun. I managed to give Maya a BIG goose egg as I was trying to prevent her from going up the steps so I felt like a horrible beast… But other than that it was nice. It was so nice to spread out. Tait’s grandparents usually host and it’s usually so crowed and you have to basically sit… or you won’t have a seat LOL but it was nice to be able to have multiple places to sit and stretch around so thank you for opening your home up.

The rest of the weekend was nice and relaxing it was nice just to be able to have time with the girls. Then it was back to work on Monday. Which we have been so slow b/c so many of our companies has been on shut down, so it was just dead. We didn’t do anything remarkably special on New Year’s to be honest we all fell asleep at 9:30… and we HAPPEN to get a drunk dial at 10 til midnight (from a stranger) and Tait and I watched the ball drop. I have to say this was the first year since I’ve seen Dick Clark from his stroke and it was kind of sad… I was kind of sad… but other than that… that was the holiday season. A lot of time was spent with family and I always enjoy that.

This weekend we are planning on visiting Tait’s parents… it should be fun. I have heard that I am an aunt again. Sarah had her baby today! She had a Boy Max (but I don’t know what his middle name is yet) He weighed 8 lbs 6 ozs I think… and was like 22 inches long. Jackie and I are going to go see him at lunch tomorrow so HAPPY BABY! So I don’t think we will see my parents this weekend b/c they will be HERE… LOL so that’s pretty funny. Maybe other weekend. I can’t wait until I have vacation time again… it will be nice to have another 3 day weekend just b/c I can… you know… but that won’t come until the END of the month… so that is sad L

Well that’s all that’s going on I will add pictures soon so you can see our tree and such…
