Finally an UPDATE!

Well It has been quite awhile since I have updated but it's been crazy busy around here. So the little baby is now offically a toddler. I can't believe it it seems like on yesterday we were trying to have the baby and now she's a talking, walking, pooping machine. She's so fun she loves to play with the puppies and her baby dolls but it's so hard to believe she's ONE! On Lehna's birthday we really didn't do anything that exciting we did wake her up with a big birthday smile but we had a party planned for the weekend so we were saving it up. Well as you can see from the pictures Lehna had a GREAT TIME! She was hamming it up right and left. She wasn't quite sure to see so many smiles and laughing adults but Lehna brought her A game and she was quite the super princess all day. She got a little fussy at the present opening time but that was only b/c she didn't understand what the heck we were doing she wanted to run around instead.

She also enjoyed her first birthday cupcake and we have it recorded so we will have to share it with you... oh Aunt Jackie? It's really sweet and of course messier then allllll get out. That's one thing with this table food self feeding stuff boy it is MESSY!

Lehna had lots of relatives that came to the celebration party I think there was 20 people so it was QUITE a lot of people but it was WONDERFUL... Tait kept saying... Our house is the perfect size for all of these people... and I kept saying... This is like the Grandparents Wagners at Thanksgiving... You know the house so small that you have to rotate your seating arrangments b/c there are too many people and not enough seating. It was fun though we didn't play any games or anything just had food and Lehna provided the entertainment. She does love being the center of attention... I wonder who she got that trait from? Hua quite the mystery.

Lehna is really intelligent... and I'm not just saying that cause she's my kid... other's have actaully told me... you know trained professionals so I'm excited about that. They say that her role playing with phone and playing with her baby doll are very advanced. So whatever that means in the world of little kids. I keep telling her to go to med school when she gets bigger... Tait just says... can we just get her to kindergarden honey? Sure sure that's in the process I say. It's pretty fun to be parent of a toddler I have to say. There are moments when I want to pull every last hair out but it's worth it when she reaches for me when she bumps her chin or just needs a kiss or a hug. Lehna is starting the "fit" throwing stage and for any of you that knew me when I was her age... YIKES! I hope this doesn't mean history will repeat itself b/c that's SCARY! She's really good most of the time but she does have a short frustration level which looking back and my fits... that was MY problem. Why couldn't she have gotten Tait's Patience and furstation level table...that would have been WONDERFUL but you know dad had to get even since he was usually the one embarrassed by me... Opps sorry dad!

Lehna got her 1 year pictures taken two weeks ago and well I actaully got to take them which was kind of cool but I was hoping to actaully get "good" pictures so I was kind of sad I had to take them myself. Of course Lehna was NOT in the best of moods she had come off of a week of two ear infections and her fever had broken that morning so she was not in the "smile" mood. Which was sooooo very sad but I Think we got some cute ones. They come in this week sometime... I'll probably get them on Friday. So hopefully that will be something to look for of course getting them on the web is another challenge.

I have been at Kroger for a month and it's sad to say that I have only put one little blerb in my blog about it but this is the reason why I haven't had time to update actaully. Retail hours were do blow but the money is actaully pretty good nothing to sneeze at. Kroger has revamped their training program so it's now this 18 weeks period of 9 weeks in store 9 weeks classroom training and you learn each phase. Right now we are in the Produce phase and it lasts one week classroom one week in store so a total of 2 weeks. I recently finished my grocery training of 3 weeks and that was a LONG 3 weeks let me tell you! So hopefully this next session will go by quick! AT least that's the hope! Retail isn't a hard business and I do really like the work when I'm busy and have stuff to do but the hours are the worst part the training store I'm in the comanagers (which is what I'm training to be) work almost always 2nd shift 12-9 which makes me SICK! those house suck donkey butt but I have heard in other stores the comanagers work all over the board sooooo I'm hoping that my assigned store will be good to me. So we'll see I'm not jumping to conclusion yet. And of course once I finish this training I can then qualify for MD2 training which means MORE MONEY and more responsiblity... then MD3 training and that meanst UNIT MANAGER which is where the money is... at least that's what I'm told. So we'll see time will take care of everything i think. Tait keeps threating to move to retail I keep trying to conveince him that his hours are just too precious to give up. So we'll see.

WEll it's getting late and I haven't adjusted to the new time change so I'm going to hit the sack I can't wait! So hopefully I will update soon that's my plan! espically if I get some pictures and video put on... so look for it soon!
